ATTRATTIVE E LUOGHI DA VISITARE
Mareblu Barisardo is located 3 km away from the seaside of Bari Sardo, also reacheable walking through the main street that leads to the spanish tower, symbol of the beach.
Bari Sardo‘s shoreline is made of two wide beaches, “spiaggia la torre”, 1.3 km long and “spiaggia di Planargia”, 4.8 km long. This one is also kwonw to surf and kitesurf lovers.
Along the shore it is possible to rent paddle boats, kayaks, watercrafts and motorboat, really usefull if you want to observ the beauty of our seaside and lose yourself into nature.
Next to Bari Sardo there is “Cea”, another beach caracterised by its faint sand and two sea stack 200 mt from the shore, and the “spiaggia di Cardedu“.
Going north it’s possible to get to two other touristic destination: Cala Luna and Cala Gonone, reachable by boat.
If you are up to rent a boat, two others unmissable beaches are Cala Mariolu and Cala Sisine.
If you decide not to rent a boat on your own, there are a lot of organized boat-trip, that allow to see and to visit the most beautiful places of the area.
For the horse lovers, near to Mareblu Bari Sardo there is stables where you can organize your horseback riding.
If you love nature and woods, it is possible to take a trip on the “Green Train”, leaving from Arbatax or Lanusei, going through Seui’s wood and Gairo and Osini, and arriving to Sadali.
Lanusei is also well known for the incredible “Gigant’s tombs”, wich go back to XV century b.C. and for “Nuraghe” and “Domus de Janas”, located in the same area.
Others importants touristic destinations are “Grotte di Ulassai” (“Ulassai’s cave”), and the “Osini Rock”, well-known by climbers along with Baunei Mountain.
Only 70 km away from Bari Sardo it is possible to visit “Gennargetu”, one of the most wonderful mountain in Italy.
Ogliastra by night… In Cardedu, near Bari Sardo, the are many pubs with tipical music, Dance and Latino, or is possible to visit other town like Tortolì, Arbatax and Porto Frailis, Lotzorai or the discos in Lido di Orrì.
